Happy Tuck Tuesday, Gang!!!

I hope you are all having an amazing end to the year and skipping the stress this holiday season! 

I've been working hard on fulfillment over here and am so anxious to get you your Tucks and start 2017 on a cozy note. The shipment is scheduled to clear customs the first week of January according to the NY/NJ port. Theres a lot more to do before then...so lets get to it!!!

Tuck XL color voting

There were close to 20 submissions for the Tuck XL color scheme...and they did not disappoint! After seeing the first submission, I was hooked...refreshing the Google drive every hour to see what ya'll came up with! So let's get to voting!

Heres how it's gonna work:

• Go to our Facebook album for the backer designs here.
• "Like" whichever designs you want to see made. Throw a like on the PocketChange Facebook page too!!!
• Whichever 5 get the highest votes move on to the finals. There, they will be voted on by all that have purchased a Tuck XL in Backerkit!
• The winner gets made, and the designer gets some goodies added to their package!!! So if you really want to see a color made - share the album to your friends and get them voting!

So there it is. Let's see which Tuck XL reigns supreme!!! This one below, while not possible in terms of creation (yet), certainly caught our eye due to the creativity, time, and passion that clearly went into it. If you made it - please shoot me a message!!!

Backer Surveys

You guys have been great with the backer surveys. 90 percent of them are completed...but there are still some of you who have not! 

For those - You need to complete the survey to get your Tucks. If there are problems with your billing info, email, etc. then shoot me a message and we will solve them!

I will leave the surveys open for maintenance/changes/add ons until the Tuck XL is chosen so that you can all choose your package accordingly! Until next time...here are some awesome people doing awesome things!

Tuck Yeah!

The Tuck Is Coming!

Well gang, it's officially official. The campaign has come to a close and the Tuck is FUNDED!!!! These 40 days have felt more like 6 months...but the juice has been well worth the squeeze. 

We've been through a lot together since the start of this campaign - Halloween, Thanksgiving, a tumultuous election, and most importantly - the creation/evolution of an amazing, super-cozy product. It has been a wild journey...and it wouldn't have been nearly as joyous without you guys. 

This is just our first product and the first step for PocketChange Designs. We are incredibly pumped to continue this journey with you. 

There is a lot more work on our end to get you guys Tuckin' ASAP. We'll be sending BackerKit surveys your way, updating you on the things to come, and briefing you on the fulfillment process. For now - know that we are so damn thankful to have you guys. 

In the meantime - some of our good friends and my big bro/co-creator - surprised me with a funny little infauxmercial and behind the scenes selfie-mercial from across the nation using our earlier prototypes.

Updated Stretch Goals

Happy Tuck Tuesday!

It is a bittersweet one...as it is the last of our Kickstarter campaign. This past month has been full of ups, downs, and everything in between. All-in-all it has been an awesome roller coaster ride because you guys have had your arms up in the air alongside us. 

We have been listening to all of your suggestions and appreciate your passion for the product. To show you how much, we have switched up our stretch goals based off your suggestions. Check it out!

Tuck XL - which has been requested by many backers, will be available if we reach our 75k stretch goal by this Sunday! It will be a larger Tuck fit for king sized beds, taller Tuckers, and jumbo-blankey snuggle sessions. Right now...we figure it will be around 1.25-1.5x the original Tuck's dimensions. That being said...we would like to receive input from you all once/if we reach that goal!

If we reach 100k, get out your colored pencils and get ready to color! The 100k stretch goal is now a "Backer Designed Tuck." This means all of you backers will get PDF coloring book style page and design your ideal Tuck! After receiving submissions, you will vote for your favorites with the winner becoming reality.

We recently ordered the backer created version of one of our favorite campaigns, Fidget Cube, and realized just how much Backer creativity can improve a product. We hope you guys do the same for Tuck!

You guys got us this far and if you'd like to get more types of Tuck...we will need your help. There are only 5 days left so we ask all of you to take 10 seconds and share our campaign! None of this will be possible without your support and social outreach...and your friends will thank you for your early-adopterness once they're snuggled up!

We Have Reached The First Stretch Goal!!! 

I hope you had an amazing Tuck Tuesday. I'm sorry that I missed it but we at the PocketChange HQ figured it was best to wait for 50k to hit and give you all a super-stretch goal-sized update.

First things first: You guys are amazing...and now you can select a Kickstarter Exclusive color to showcase your early-adopter awesomeness.

We couldn't be more pumped/shocked/in disbelief. This time last month I was finalizing the pieces of this campaign...scared half to death that Tumbleweeds would roll across the Kickstarter page and I'd be back to the drawing board.

Today the Tuck has almost 850 supporters, nearly 350% funding, and its first completed stretch goal. More importantly, over 100 of you have decided to give a piece of home to those without one. Thank you for choosing to warm up someone's winter alongside your own.

This all feels pretty Tuckin' surreal, to say the least, and it wouldn't be real at all without you. 

This company was started with my PocketChange (get it?) while living in my parents house as a recent college graduate, working freelance advertising jobs and doing construction/excavating work with my dad. It was a big, long term risk with questionable reward...but I loved the things I was making and the surge of creative excitement I felt making them. You have all proven to me that following your passion leads to amazing things. That being said...

Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU. 

PocketChange Designs has much more planned for the Tuck and several more nifty inventions on the way in the future. This is just the beginning, and it has been pretty damn amazing so far. I am so excited and blessed to continue this journey with you.

The 100k stretch goal "PocketChange Edition Tuck" lost the election by a near landslide...so we would like to ask you backers: What would you like to see as the 100k stretch goal? A backer designed color scheme? Tuck XL? A catchy new Tuck jingle???

Will We Be Getting Our Tucks Soon???

Short Answer: It is looking good. 

Long Answer: Tucks are made, packed, and ready to board the ship to the U.S. of A. 

Problems/delays can still surface while loading the Tucks, transporting them here, or when getting them through customs. This is the very beginning of Tuck's journey and our first time importing and distributing product...just know that we are working our hardest to learn the ropes, jump over them without tripping, and get the best Tuck possible in your homes ASAP. We want them just as much as you!

To get your Tucks as soon as possible, you will need to fill out your backer surveys as soon as possible. After all: we can't get the Tucks to you if we don't know your color choice or address. Backer Surveys will be sent when the campaign ends.

For Non-U.S. Backers: Learning more about international fulfillment, we have found customs and the various inspections to be unpredictable, expensive, and time consuming. That being said, Christmas delivery for international backers is now deemed uncertain. After all, we would rather under-promise and do our best to over-deliver to you awesome supporters around the globe.

In Conclusion: We have done our research and have very capable manufacturing and fulfillment partners. If all goes according to plans the Tucks will be packed up and sent your way before Christmas. This is even more likely if you are one of our United States backers. Boom.
